SAS HDDのSMART情報を取得(3)
前回、認識されているSAS HDDを以下のように表示させました。
# smartctl --scan
/dev/sda -d scsi # /dev/sda, SCSI device
/dev/bus/0 -d megaraid,2 # /dev/bus/0 [megaraid_disk_02], SCSI device
次に、[ /dev/bus/0 -d megaraid,2 ]のSMART情報を表示させます。コマンドを以下のように実行すると表示させることができます。
# smartctl -a /dev/bus/0 -d megaraid,2

SATA HDDで表示される情報と相違があります。ただ、基本的には
- Elements in grown defect list
- number of hours powered up
- Error counter log内Total uncorrected errors
- Non-medium error count
くらいだと思います。ただし、HDDメーカーによってはnumber of hours powered upがなかったりします。
Elements in grown defect listはGリストと呼ばれるもので「工場出荷後に不良セクタと予備セクタを紐づけるためのリスト」となっています(引用:https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E4%B8%8D%E8%89%AF%E3%82%BB%E3%82%AF%E3%82%BF)。number of hours powered up以外は0に近い方が望ましく、特にGリストが1以上であると不良セクタがあるという判定となります。
